Puppy Jamboree:

Got a new puppy? This class is for you. Help with all the normal puppy problems. Learn how to socialize and train your puppy in a purely positive way.

Doggie Basics 1 & 2:

Got a new dog? Or just one that needs a little help. This class will help you and your dog learn basics like sit, down, and loose leash walking. Also learn positive ways to deal with minor behavior issues.

Everyday Skills for Dog:

This class will put your Doggie Basic skills (sit, down, stay) to work for you and your canine buddy. Learn how to deal with everyday situations like in and out of the car, waiting nicely at the door, breezing through a vet or grooming visit, love the crate and 4 on the floor greetings. Work on the skills that will make your pup shine as a social star.

Obedience and Off Leash Skills:

Take your loose leash walking and obedience skills to the next level. This class will add distractions and we will work with the dogs off leash. This class is all about focus and control with and without a leash.

Loose Leash Walking:

This class will cover the skills you need to help you both succeed and have your dog walking nicely by your side. All with no yanking or pulling, just positive reinforcement. If you want your walks to be pleasant strolls rather than pulling matches between you and your 4 footed pal, then this class is for you. We will also work on focus skills for doggies who want to chase anything that moves faster than a snail or sniff until the sun goes down.

Therapy Dog 1:

This Class is for dogs and owners interested in Therapy work. The class will cover all items on the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. This class includes the Canine Good Citizen Testing. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC evaluation receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. This is the first of 2 classes that we offer for Therapy Dog preparation. These classes help build both handler and dog skills. You and your therapy dog are a team, and you both need to work together to be successful.

Therapy Dog 2:

This Class is for dogs and owners interested in Therapy work. In this class we work on behaviors needed for handler/dog evaluations and actual visits. We will be working on more advanced skills and proofing your dog for different types of Therapy situations through training and role playing scenarios.

Beginner Agility:

Have fun learning the basics of Agility with your dog. We cover the basic equipment and handling skills. Helps to teach coordination, cooperation, control and focus. Strengthen the bond between you and your dog.

Advanced Agility:

For dogs who have the basic skills of agility. This class works on improving and adding advanced handler skills, increasing distance and building your dogs jumping and contact skills.
Pre-requisite: Beginner Agility

Rally Level 1:

Not into Agility or just want another fun sport to do with your dog. Rally is a fun way to practice and improve obedience skills. For competition or just for fun.

Rally-Practice and Proofing Skills:

American Kennel Club is adding new signs to their Rally Courses starting in April. This class will cover all the new signs and changes for all 3 levels and proof your skills for the ring and help your dog work through distractions. This class is for dogs and handlers at any Rally level. Even if you aren't competing, join in on some new obedience fun.

Reliable Recall

Learn and build a reliable recall, and add distance to your obedience skills. Learn what makes a good recall and some of the most common mistakes that can ruin your recall. Also learn "Stop Moving" cue. Prerequisite: Doggie Basics

Growls to Grins:

Does your canine companion have trouble getting along with
other dogs, is he scared of people and new things? This class will give you and your dog the skills and behaviors to deal with other dogs, people and new situations.

DROP IN CLASSES

Out & Abouts:

Take your training on the go. Out and About sessions happen in different locations around the area. Working with your dog in different environments and distractions helps to proofs their behaviors plus works on socialization with new people, places and dogs.

$25.00 Drop In fee per class. Times and dates to be announced.

Nose to the Ground:

Have fun helping your dog find stuff using his nose. This class will teach the basics of scent work, scent discrimination, and also build confidence by working in different environments and with different objects. Build teamwork and bond with your dog by learning a fun new activity for you both.

Furry Fit and Fun:

Learn the basics of doggie pilates, ball work and stretching. This class will build your dogs confidence with new things and increase body awareness and balance. We also cover simple massage techniques for relaxation and stretches for the humans. Prerequisite Doggie Basics

Treibball Fun:

Any dog that loves to play chase games, to herd or just use their amazing, problem-solving ability will love Treibball. Treibball promotes teamwork and communication, but does not put any physical stress on the handler. It also builds confidence for the shy dog, and helps reactive dogs with impulse control. The basics of the game are dogs must push a ball toward their handler and through a goal. This is a beginner level class and will introduce you and your dog to the sport and the beginning behaviors and handling skills you will need as a team.

Treibball: Beyond the Basics:

In this class, we will take the skills from Treibball Fun and put them together and start to work with multiple balls and more complicated herding patterns. Prerequisite: Treibball Fun

Tricks:

Want to add to the cuteness factor of your clever canine? This is the class for you and your dog. Learn fun and amazing tricks to impress your family and friends.

Tricks in Motion

Looking for something creative and fun to do with your dog. Take all your tricks along with new ones and learn how to put them together in an exciting and fun routine, even add music if you want. Canine Freestyle is a growing sport in the dog world. Canine Freestyle is a choreographed performance organized with music, illustrating the training and relationship of a dog and handler team. This class will cover the basic skills and work on building a routine with your dog.

Clicks for Tricks

Learn some fun tricks with your pup to entertain your family and friends. This class will focus on clicker training techniques to teach the tricks, so if you want to learn some basic clicker training, change the way your dog learns and have fun while doing it- this is the class for you. Don't worry if you have taken our Tricks class before- this class will surprise both you and your dog!

Class Sessions are 4 weeks long. Each class meets once a week for one hour.
All class sessions are $115.00 except for Therapy Dog 1 which is $135.00.
